C2 in the Uproar

Isn't that a low pass filter? How does increasing a low-pass filter decrease the bass?

now you have said that, well im confused too, but C2, its not replaced, by the 10nf cap, it get in parallel with it, so maybe that where the magic happens jeje, not sure really, Brain, tell us where its the trick

Caps in parallel add, so switching it just turns the 47pF into a 1047pF. If it were a resistor, I'd understand (that forms a high pass filter). People say it works, though. :/

a resistor will make more sense,ummmmm in fact im not so sure it will work, im building one, but i cant finde the 11.26K resistor, maybe a 10K will make the job meanwhile, but... not so sure, still the super midrange its something weird, or we are missing something

i know its an active low pass filter, and i made some calcs, but the way it its, lwers the freq the sound.... this its strange, i will finish my build this weekend i see if it really works, or as maths says it doesnt work the way we wanted to
