So I replaced the MI1210CLF-R with VTL5C3 and it sounds a lot better, not sure if my vactrols were bad or these just sound better. The filtering sounds more stable. Crazy, but stable.

I love it now!  ;D

I know the design is over the top but so is the pedal!!

Man, everything about that is awesome.
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.
