Anyone know what riffs Andy from pgs is playing in this video. The riff at the start of the vid and the riff at 2:20 into the vid.

I'm sure I've heard that riff before somewhere but it's been irritating me all week as I can't identify it.

I don't know but that Reverend with filtertrons is sa-weet!

deafbutpicky

for the first one listen to bands like albatros overdrive, for the second one john lee hooker.
Those are generic blues rock riffs met all over the place, can't be much of a help sorry...

hoodoo

It's got a bit of a CCR fortunate son vibe to it.

snz728

start of it sounds like van halen "women in love" riff when the drums kick in

The first one sounds familiar.  I want to say grunge era... Stp or pearl jam but I can't place it.  It's driving me nuts now.  Thanks!  Haha!

The first one sounds familiar.  I want to say grunge era... Stp or pearl jam but I can't place it.  ...probably way off.   It's driving me nuts now.  Thanks!  Haha!
the chromatic riff reminds me of stp or Van Halen.  Don't know how I can mention them both in the same sentence but there it is.  The E based riff reminds me of something Jimmy Page would do.
