1/4 watt vs. 1/2 watt resistors

I'm going to put together a Beavis Huminator and noticed the build calls for 1/2 watt resistors.  I have  a 100R in the 1/4W flavor but not 1/2. Does it matter that much for this circuit or should I swing by Fry's?

I'd go with 1/2 watt.

There is a work around, you could take two 1/4 watt 200 ohm resistors and put them in parallel.  This would provide 100 ohms with a 1/2 watt rating.

Dude, I have loads of 100R 1/2W resistors. How many do you want? No chargies.

Thanks 'Bean!! That's very cool of you. I have been planning on getting another Fatpants anyway so maybe they could be sent together? For the Huminator I was planning on making a 1 in/4 out to use with my 1Spot so I guess I would need 4 half-watters if you have them to spare.   Thanks again, I'm almost battery-free!  FREEDOM!!!!!
