hi, how are you?

I have an idea but I really do not know how to carry it out well.

I want to add a variable Q potentiometer to Weener Wah II.

search and found this link: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=99736.0;prev_next=prev

* 1k resistor is Q pot

in the specific case of wenner wah, how did you do?

*weener wah II schematic:

another question,

how the fasel is put? there is any difference, if I put the fasel the other way?

which is the correct way? 1 or 2?

*is my first time putting an inductor  :P

thanks

I've had entirely too much good beer to respond to this tonight. I'll look at it tomorrow evening when I get home if someone that hasn't yet responded.

Check out the info at wah-wah.co.uk

And it doesn't matter which way you put the inductor in as you have it pictured.

Put a 50K pot in series with R7. Lower R7 to ... let's say, 10K.

However, the Whack already does something similar.

To do the mod discussed in the DIYSB link, you would have to cut a trace between the inductor and R5/R7/etc., which is much more invasive for an exceptionally minimal difference, with less range because the inductor's internal resistance sets the lower limit instead of the value of R7 (which is a heck of a lot cheaper to swap out).
