This is the second Rat build I've done but the first in a mini.  It's actually for the same guy I built one for previously.  This was tighter than expected as I had to wire the clipper switching on a piece of vero and mount it to the underside of the PCB.  Not a whole lot of vertical space with everything packed in there.

The enclosure has quite a few dents and impressions in it.  I don't know what the hell went on with this one, but that's how it was when I got it.  It was my last black mini box so my buddy said it was cool to use it.

As far as the sound, it still sounds like a Rat.

I'm speechless...
How the heck do you fit all that in there, I'll never understand.

Stellar build, Dave. Just brilliant. And I know you don't care for the Rat circuit, so it's even more impressive to see you do it such justice.

Well, they are 1/8 watt more so than cute. But I guess I could see cute.

Great build... I love the knobs. Where do you get those (and the silver ones you often use)? When I got metal knobs from musikding once, they were freaky expensive.
How did you do the labeling?
I build pedals to hide my lousy playing.

That is so tasteful and beautiful. You make it look effortless. Which means that was a lot of work.

:o That certainly is a clean etch. The cleanest rat I've ever seen...
