Folks,

I've been getting a few emails from some companies requesting that I remove their name from the website. I've gone ahead and done this for most of the projects, in anticipation of any future requests. While this may lead to some confusion, it is most likely unavoidable to some degree. I've done everything I can to be as descriptive as possible as to what's what. And, for the time being, the project documents themselves still name the actual design it's based upon. Just to re-iterate: these are DIY projects that are in no way affiliated with or serve as a replacement for any existing commercial product by any manufacturer. And, this forum is the only place you can expect to receive (happily) any response to questions regarding my projects or products.

If anyone has specific questions, or needs clarification, please feel free to PM me here in the forum.

Thanks!

Hi madbean

Thanks for the clarification.
What does it mean when a project is offline?

Madbean,

I don't see the Uproar listed anymore. Is it due to the "presence" issue mentioned on FSB?

madbean

Actually, it was never listed because it hasn't been offered here. I haven't followed the FSB thread for a while, but I am going to check up on it and go back over my layout. There are some value changes for me to make, as well. Just haven't had a chance to get to it yet.

Is there a boost/overdrive pcb for bass available at the moment? Or will any/some of the ones for guitar do?

Generally a guitar overdrive will work for Bass, though sometimes they need some modification to adjust to the lower frequencies. If you're looking for a specific drive, what are you looking for? If you're just looking for a Bass Overdrive to do, you could check out the JMK PCBs Big Bass Drive project.

I was mainly looking for a bass boost but one which could also be overdriven. The only guitar boost pedal that I've used and liked has been the Hard On and I guess that's what I'm after for the bass but perhaps with a bit more drive at the end of the dial.

I had been looking at the JMK Big Bass Drive and I think I'll give it a go.
Thanks
