47KA Pot Help~!

Hey
  Does anyone know where I can find some 47KA Pots?

Thanks so much for the help!!

I can not find them at the usual..  Mammoth/Smallbear/Mouser

They are more common outside of the US so you might have to go to a European source for that. However, it's easy to make your own! Simply put a 1M resistor on the two outside lugs of your 50kA pot to approximate a 47kA.

Keep in mind, though, that difference between 47k and 50k is only 6%. This is well within the tolerance of the average pot you can buy (which are more like 20%). IOW, there's little to no difference in using a 47k or 50k unless really tight tolerances are a factor. You could even buy a few 50kA pots and I bet you would find one that measures 47k!

Those are pot value more commonly found on European projects or schem.

Just use a A50K.

Same thing goes for 4K7, 220K pots... you sub with 5K and 250K(or put a resistor in parrallel with it to bring it to 220K if really necessary.)
