New Baby Day

She was 10 days late and refused to come out the old fashioned way, but now she's here. She almost shared a birthday with her uncle GeekMacDaddy, but she was just a little bit too early for that.

Mom and baby are doing great.

Can't wait to teach her to play guitar and build pedals (or help her get good at whatever she wants to pursue).

Leos are the greatest ... natural show-offs and leaders.

I've had so many August birthdays in my family ... my mom and dad , when they were here ... my niece, nephew, and sister-in-law.

anyway, big congratulations!

incidentally, her swaddling cloth reminded me that my original birth certificate included foot prints ... I guess that's how they did it in the old days.
