Hey guys,

I know this is a question that has been asked a million times, but can anyone give me an idea of the going rate for PCB design? A friend and I have a budding small operation, and while I don't expect (or really want, for that matter) to ever turn a profit beyond financing personal builds, I do think it would be cool to have our own PCB's.  I am looking into outsourcing PCB design, as eagle isn't a mountain I have quite conquered yet. I know a lot of you guys are fully capable, so I figured I'd ask what the process is and what a typical fee structure looks like. I know a lot of this is based on the kind of design, eg. delay VS a opamp booster. Can anyone fill me in?

Everyone has there own method to the madness...there really isn't a "going rate" in my opinion.

GrindCustoms

I'd invite you to contact us, we've been doing custom pcb jobs for many known boutique builders and more.

What we offer is a "key in hand" service wich mean that you get your production files once the layout is physicaly tested and verified.

We do have à fixed rate on certain types of jobs and it's really affordable.

Shoot me an email at grindcustoms at gmail dot com if you're interested.
