That's wicked dude! I love the slider, have thought about trying one many times, box cutting looks like a pain though! The layout is very cool, love the LED placement! :)

Any good tips on envirotex? I've been considering giving it a go as whenever I've painted reverse etched boxes they always chip very easily even with 3-4 layers of clear coat and envirotex looks to be more durable, does it cover the sides as well?

There's a wonderful tutorial by Juan and Cleggy. I followed it the first time and had great results:

I also summed up a few things in this thread a while back:

Awesome, thanks for the tips on using Envirotex guys, I'm going to give it a whirl and see how I like it!

Nice build dude, love the slider.

Was just wondering, could you mix some glitter into the Envirotex for extra bling? Haven't decided whether this would just look tacky but it would seem feasible at least?

I'd say it is reasonable to assume it should work. The epoxy prepolymer isn't very reactive and the hardener isn't too basic either, so the epoxy should stay clear and transparent.

I can't believe I missed this. What an excellent build. The slide pot is so sweet. I too have plans to incorporate one of those babies in a build. Very well executed on the slot.

I hope you are the type that sees imitation as a form of flattery. I am totally going to use that fader trick. Awesome build!
What fader did you use.
I build, and once in a while I might sell, pedals as "Vertigo Effects".

sonarchotic

Beautifully slick build! I too love the slider. I have a load of them hanging around along with other weird switches I've yet to use. This is the inspiration!

Haha. Of course, go for it!

Not really sure about the fader specifics. I bought it a while back and can't remember where from. It's just a standard 5Kc slide pot though I think.
