3d printer for electronics. what are your thoughts?

That look awesome.

But, I don't think it will work that well for audio applications. Once 3D metal printing (not just conductive ink) is cheap enough for hobbyists, I think that will be the point at which the whole paradigm changes.

Wow. That does look awesome. It's going to be fun to see where 3d printing goes in the next few years.

That is interesting. I'm in an Auto Desk, aka Auto Cad class now and have been brain storming ways to make it useful for audio. This could be the ticket.
On another note. I hope they come up with some more environmentally friendly materials for 3d printing. I hate to think that this just presents us with an opportunity to make more non-serviceable plastic crap to throw in the ocean.

There's some pretty powerful software available now, where you can make printable 3d designs with basically no experience.  Even stuff with moving parts. 

And with 3d scanners, you can just scan things and print them
