Arcadiator IC question

I've seen some reports of people having trouble with their Arcadiator because of chip variations -- I think it's the CD4069? Can someone confirm which version of this chip is the one that works (or doesn't work)? I haven't built mine yet, but I have the sneaking suspicion that I've ordered the wrong ICs. Hopefully I can nip this in the bud before I get it on the testing rig.

Not sure but I have built 2 of them using this exact 4069 chip from mouser with no problems:

I've built one with the same chip from mouser and it works great.

I thought I had a chip problem with my first one, but I tested all 3 different 4069s i have in a working circuit and they all work fine and the same. One each from Small Bear, Tayda, and Mouser.

A "4069" is pretty much a "4069"

I used the same as Pryde in the fabbed Arcadiator build...CD4069UBE, no issues.

I did a couple of searches and it looks like Brian had trouble with his 4069BCN, which is what Small Bear sent me. Guess I'll be rolling the dice...
