Devi's Hyperion = Ampeg Scrambler clone?

Wow.  I just had a google for "devi ever pedal gutshots" and I have to admit I'm a little disappointed in the apparent build quality for what I consider to be a boutique "brand name"... Apparently things have changed but we see better built stuff here every day.

I'd seen the pedals around in a few second hand shops and the like.  I've never tried them (not a huge fuzz fan) but I couldn't equate the apparent look of it with the reputation.

Hope you aren't looking at the ones that I built, LOL, I was proud of the quality i put out. But there were some pretty shitty ones from way back. Devi herself wasn't very,.. tidy. I don't know how "boutique" they were ever claimed to be, and the price point reflected that. A $50 fuzz with a sticker for a label is hardly high end gear.

Well, they're not too expensive in the scheme of things over here but ebay still has them over the $100 mark.  Which is reasonable but not "cheap".

I'm the last to say my guts are neat, but I'm not selling them either.
