Here's my first ever build, the Noisy Cricket.

Okay I suppose I can shrink it and just attach a small image. Used another forum similar in the past.

Anyway, it's the noisy cricket, wired up on some veroboard. I liked the idea of the "beta bass" mod included in the instructions, so added in a rotary switch, going between 3 capacitors for different bass levels.
I have it running through my amp's 12" Celestion, and far out it's pretty loud for 1/2Watt!

Wife had a spare lunchbox lying around. Made sense. Future plans are for a tube cricket - I'll case that one up a bit better. LOL.

Lol, it makes for quick and easy battery changes!
It's definitely a bit of a birds nest in there. Hopefully things like this improve over time.

Very nice sit. A bit of a birds nest huh? I don't think some of those wires are even hooked up :p kidding, great job for a first build and vero none the less!!

Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

I will have you know I checked every wire against my schematic with a dried out highlighter I found with the lid left off, thankyou very much!

Also found out that you should install the dc jack BEFORE you solder it, but that's a job for the near future.

Working amp = great first build! Keep it up.

Great 1st build.  Wiring gets easier as you go along.  PCBs with board mounted pots are fantastic.

I like how you matched the knobs with the enclosure.

Yeah it was a fluke with the colour matching!
