Hi boys and girls,

I've just finished Neutrino number 2 to the Black specification using a 4558 op amp.

Its not got as much gain as the bright version that I built, and strangley it seems to be brighter - not sure about that. Although I think I may have used the Black version C6 value in the bright Spec pedal. That one also has the LM1458 IC.

I cant do a side by side comparison as I let my mate borrow it for his PRS custom 22 and Mesa Boogie Mark 3. I've spoken to him tonight and I might have trouble getting it back.

The sound is very old school, maybe a bit fuzzy but not a full on in your face overdriven distortion. Very 1960s, I'm trying to put my finger on what it reminds me of but I cant place it.

Decided to leave the enclosure as is, the bare metal 'dirty' finish is somehow appealling.
