I must be getting old. WoW: Legion has gone live, no server issues, no lag, smooth as butter, and I'm NOT mainlining it.

Ordered the rest of the parts for this, and this is where I am so far:

Rest of my parts turned up, and a few hours were spent troubleshooting.

Traces need to be cut, patches need to be made, and a couple resistors have to be bodged in. I'm pretty sure the Depth pot works backwards :/

Still interested Alan, what type Ldr did you use?

alanp

Cheapo, bog standard Tayda LDRs.

I'm not happy with the amount of bodging needed on this board. I'm tempted to have another run of a revised version done. I need to re-route the Resonance pot, and then test again. too late, right now.

As it stands, if I sold copies of the current version of this board, it'd rate as Wile E. difficulty.

Done!

More patches on the pcb than I like, but it works :)

Given that I had to bend all the sequencer pots out of the way to troubleshoot, it wound up being a real adventure, getting the sodding board in the enclosure with 18 pots, 9 of which were bent out of alignment!

This is to illustrate how much floorspace I saved :)

turned out great Alan. so much space on top and you still go with side mount jacks ::)

on a more serious note, great job on drilling/alignement. this is a horror scenario for me. At least they were 16mm pots and not 9mm ;)
I build pedals to hide my lousy playing.

All the LFO signals and noisy grounds are flying around the top of the PCB -- I didn't want to go near them with my audio signals.

Looking good!  That's a lot of knobs.  I see why you went with inexpensive ones.
Nice work on the recessed LEDs.  I've yet to try that.
