Phaser pedal ticking

I build, and once in a while I might sell, pedals as "Vertigo Effects".

Juan put one of his jacks right on TOP of the LFO in the linked build -- he wound up using an enclosed jack, and further shielding that with grounded tinfoil, and shielded wire.

Yup, it'll all be signal wires being near to the LFO. Re-wiring with shielded signal wires will almost certainly cut down the ticking. Another reason why I don't like top mounted jacks.

Also reminds me that I really need to get my finger out and build myself another PS1A at some point.

Thanks for the replies. I have shielded wire on order. I plan on using the shielded wire on the in and out jacks to the switch.

I just switched the jacks for closed ones and used shielded wire for in and out from switch to jack on each. The ticking is barely noticeable. Much improved. Ill post a pic of my build in the build report section. Thanks for all the help.
