For me... this week is all about St. Paul & the Broken Bones. Saw them last summer at Muscian's Corner in Nashville, and their live show is awesome. Their full-length finally dropped this week and it does not disappoint.

I got a kick out of that Ian. It's classy, yet a little modern.

Ian, have you listened to Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears? They are a fantastic live show.

Zane Carney, who is a totally killer guitarist & singer

Nothing good on the youtubes from him, though.

Just curious really  ;D

I've been listening to lots of June of 44, Slint, The Shipping News & The For Carnation. I like all sorts of stuff, but i seem to go through phases with in my listening habits. Right now its post-rock / mathy stuff. I guess mostly because  just started a new band that's in that vein, and thats where my mind is at right now

Slint, wow.....haven't listen to that in a while. Good stuff!

Va, a beacon of brilliant hardcore music.

These guys are friends of mine, they are great. The older stuff is free to download and it's all brilliant IMO. Take 1.5 min and listen to "Punk as F" off the first album. You'll enjoy. :-)

Right now Joe Bonamassa on tour on public TV and once again I think I'll just quit playing guitar.
