I just can't get enough of Sturgill Simpson these days. Excite to see him open up for Jason Isbell (i've posted before), this Sunday at The Ryman.

Thanks for that! Beautiful song. I was just thinking tonight about the sad state of modern country so it's refreshing to hear this guy.

(Bone Thugs n Harmony - Crossroads)

That's one of the few hiphoppy songs I like :)

If my photos are missing again... they're hosted by photobucket... and as of 06/2017 being held hostage... to be continued?

The new Mono album(s) are out. I got myself the 150 piece limited marble-look edition on vinyl. Very classy exterior and killer sounds. Love it.
Check it out, if you like instrumental post rock.

Finally got to headphone both of their new albums and I must say, I loved every minute of them. They still have it.. The subtle intros to the crashing epic finals. I have been a huge fan for years and will continue to.

Nice to hear. I just got them in the post today so I have only listened to the albums once. I kinda dislike the screamo-guest-"singer" on rays of darkness though... Besides that, pure bliss

Good job on the Mono, I remember seeing them back a few years ago at The Cockpit in Leeds, really great, atmospheric live show.

I'm keeping my listening habits locals at the moment.

They were playing in Vienna yesterday and unfortunately I wasn't able to go since I was sick at home. Bummer. Was looking forward to a postrock concert again.

I thought this would save me money.

Just found this. Super cool instrumental stuff. The Modular album under the same label is a treat to listen to as well. http://oceanographicrecords.bandcamp.com/
