Just listening to this one again. I'm a classic rock kind of guy but I'm so impressed with this. I think Bill Frisell's playing here is just about perfect. Not only what he's playing but also what he's not playing. What a feel!

Plus, it always looks like he's really enjoying himself.

This is a jazzy, post-rock. hardcore weirdo type of band from Belgium...
Was listening to that in my early 20's, still one of my favorite album ever

Hits hard for 1973!

The Albums Placebo and 1973 are really worth checking, truly ahead of its time.

In light of Pickdropper's terrific 18watt build, this is a demo of a group of original 18watts and a lone JTM 45 and not a bad player to have demo'ing.

If my photos are missing again... they're hosted by photobucket... and as of 06/2017 being held hostage... to be continued?

pickdropper

One of the guys who was there owns a Clusterfuzz.  The hope was that Joe B would do a quick clip of it, but my guess is that they didn't have time as I probably would've heard about it.

That first combo with the slant logo rocked my socks. Might just be the angle to the mic but that sounded tits!

In the spirit of bands from France... Scarve, that album when released in 2004 marked me by it's production, skills of the player and modern sounding of everything...

It's fast paced, technical, screams, loud... much awesome!! Worth the listen if you can stand extreme metulz a bit.. ;)

Also, master Dirk Verburen on drums... Belgium madman...

Yes, they are great! Live performance was perfect..

chromesphere

While were on a ...sort of metal... theme, here's one from one of my favourite bands.  Unfortunately the band has become slightly pretentious of late in my opinion, this album was 'ok' overall.

Gotta admit though, when they get it right, they nail it.  The vocal hooks in the chorus are harmonic perfection...
