Another post-rock band for you. These guys are a bit of a different flavor tho. Enjoy!

This is some good stuff!

I've been diving into the tUnE-yArDs catalog. It grooves in a weird way. The live performances are good too. The overdriven ukelele (not in this track) is a trip.

I've recently discovered Kurt Vile, and have been binging on his back catalog for about a month.

Old Offsets + finger picking + slacker alternative voice + vintage effects + fantastic songwriting = instant win

Not finger picked, but this is lyrically one of my favorites off his newest album.  Bonus points for the use of an E-bow.

"Sometimes I talk too much but I gotta get it out
But I don't wanna talk, I only wanna listen
My baby talks soft, my ears are always ringing now
Humming a sad song when I'm alone
But you gotta be alone to figure things out sometimes
Be alone, when even in a crowd of friends and not so
Sometimes of whom you just can't distinguish but
Thank god for the former, yeah"

Rediscovered these guys this week. My old band played a few shows with them. They're a great band. This song in particular always struck me because of the guitar part I. The verse being such a cool melody.

This is another fav from circa 2000-2005.

Another fantastic band, kinda spoonish, but the bass player really stands out to me. He's got a great playing style.

The last Mastodon

Their new release that just came out the 31st, "Emperor of Sand" is awesome.
I build, and once in a while I might sell, pedals as "Vertigo Effects".

I'll have to check it out. I remember not really liking a few of their last releases. Leviathan was my favorite so far.
