This is the kind of cover I like -- it's the kind that Mr Cash did. Take it, and put your own spin on it.

That's great Alan, you'd never guess it's roots if you didn't know. Peter Tosh does a very cool cover of another US music icon's song.

And just because it's Toot's and almost a year since his passing...

If my photos are missing again... they're hosted by photobucket... and as of 06/2017 being held hostage... to be continued?

Jerry Cantrell is one of the unsung heroes of songwriting, to my mind.

The music vid also puts me in mind of Wylde's _Pride & Glory_, and the southern states of the US. Something about the goatee, the hat (what is it? Looks kinda like a bowler hat, but the brim is too big), and the hair.

Music to garden by... my wife brings home a wide ranging never ending supply of comp cd's always loaded with surprises. My itunes library consists of dozens and dozens of these comps that then get randomly dumped onto a shuffle so never have any idea what's on the shuffle and mostly no idea who it is i'm listening to. A couple of random samples that popped up the other day.

Elaha Soloor and Kefaya - Afghan singer fronting London based band.

Japanese psych, Acid Mothers Temple. The Levitation youtube channel is loaded with fun stuff.

... and  bonus track from Levitation - Fuzz

Yes, she is absolutely amazing.  I caught her on Austin City Limits. Definitely check her out if you have not yet

Wow, thank you for such fantastic advice. It is complicated now to find worthy musicians who make music from the heart, not just based on the desire to make more tracks of poor quality and earn money on quantity, not quality. This upsets me very much because I love music, and I would like more people to understand good music and be able to distinguish mediocrity from talent. I would also like to know which services you listen to music on, since I use charts for music so far, and I am more than satisfied with everything, but I would like to know more options to be more knowledgeable in this matter.

Been listening to an obscene amount of metal during my hiatus from the workforce.  This one's managed to bury itself in the back of my brain.

The only known cure in the world for GAS is death.  That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Came across this the other day, not a huge Tom Petty fan but I do like his stuff. Could watch videos like this all the time though.

Very nice explanation with good details. That tone is great, but I wouldn't want to listen to somebody just learning use that tone.

Cant believe I missed this album from 2012. Definitely check it out if you like this track.
