Hi all,
Has anybody had any good success with a DIY speaker simulator?  Ideally looking for something like a Palmer PDI03 that isn't too complicated to build.  Any recommended projects?
Thanks!

There's the H&K Red Box: http://rapidriotboxes.blogspot.com/2009/02/di-boxh-red-box-mark-ii.html

I put one together and it was just ok. I actually prefer to just run SansAmp stuff direct.

ROGs condor works well. TH Custom and FuzzDog have PCBs for that one.

Can confirm.

Have a verified 99ZuluFX layout here if you want to go the OSH Park/roll your own route.
Careful what you wish for, friend

junkemail86 - I've built several different cabsims. You can check my short comparison. Although.. maybe not a comparison. Just short sound samples with freqency response graphs. I did not provide links to schematics, but you can find them easily.

I've built a few.

Marshall Cabsim:  http://www.sabrotone.com/?p=3899

Simple Cabsim: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=106185.20

Davison's Easy Cab Sim.  Can't find a link, but wasn't a fan.

I have a vero of Multicab Sim sitting around that I haven't tested yet, but reports are good.  Out of the 3 of those, Simple Cabsim is my favorite - It's relatively subtle, whereas Easy and Marshall both nerfed the distortion to the point of pointlessness, Easy more so than Marshall.

+1 for the Simple Cabsim. One of my favorite, along with Multicab (I like this one because of the wide range of adjustment).
