Wow, that was escalated quickly.

Heh, I've wanted a nice, basic FV-1 board for a while, and this fits the bill. Has an EEPROM socket, volume and mix controls, pretty much what I wanted to play with. The experimentation angle was just the icing on the cake  ;D

Too bad, I just finished the Glimmer two weeks ago. Didn't expect this one coming. Build Report please

Haha, watch it escalate when I get three of those board and put them in a DD, each with the 3.3v switch...

Ok.

Maybe not.

Hmm, 4 of the 8 pins on the EEPROM are grounded, and two of the remaining are linked... wouldn't be too tricky to set up a rotary to swap around EEPROMS on the fly.... A little daughter board, a few sockets..... Hmmmm

I was thinking 3 PCBs in series, but I like your thinking too.

Hmm, the set up would be even easier if one left the chips powered when not selected, then you'd only need to vary 2 positions (the data and clock pins). A 2P6T would let you have a 55 effect pedal.... Good lord this could get ridiculous in a hurry... Do I really need a pentacontakaipentagon?  :o

Would you post an organizer build report or demo for us?

You smart guys mod this out so the not so smart guys (me) can copy LOL.  This post caused me to get out my Molecular Disruption Pedal last night and start playing with it.  3 of these boards stacked in a box could really have some fantastic sound potential.

Well too much temptation. I ordered the Organ Donor since it's something I kinda always wanted. Did find a very brief audio clips here:

Thanks Bean! Once I get caught up on a few things I'll have to pick one up.

Here ya go, this is a rough draft (most of them are at the moment) but should get you through the build.   Shoot me a message any time if you have questions or problems.

BTW I love the ideas for the Octagon!      Suggestions for improvements will not be ignored.  :)
