bloodstone / bad stone - adding stages?

I wanted to try adding stages to a bad stone / bloodstone.   I tried with the MFOS phaser and failed, figured i'd try here and fail again.

Is it possible to add 6 stages by adding 3 4558's and a CD4009, then just feeding them the same VB/VR and signal from the LFO?  Like this?   Or is there something going on with the pin 14/15 stage that i don't understand?

Should work I'd think, might be a bit noisy though and certainly wont last long on a battery.

Revisiting this.   Tried it and does not really work.   Original/5 stages works on my board, once you start adding more like in the schematic, it starts bringing in waves of static.   Added stages sorta work in manual mode with feedback all the way up.
