Made a silly mistake when designing some boards and used the wrong component part. Is there much difference sound wise between the 1n914 and the 1n4148 diodes in the Green Russian circuit?

I've used the size for the 1n4148 and not the SOT23 package for the 1n914. Made the same mistake on another board design as well :(

914s and 4148s are functionally interchangeable. Only real difference is the 4148 can handle a little more juice before popping (higher max current), but makes no difference in a pedal.

Cheers for that buddy. I found a few places that do the diodes in the package I need but with postage they were rather expensive! I didn't realise until I was populating the boards and by then it was too late. Just retrofitted the 1n4148 diodes to the already populated boards and they are looking good!
