Just looking at the taydas new arrivals and saw this

A 2.50$ relay :/ i dont understand how the datasheets work but i was wondering if i could sub it for the tq2-l-4.5 ?

I got like 10 vfe projects on the backlog because of sourcing issues xD if this works i am gonna be one step closer to getting a couple of those finished^^

Thanks!!

I recently subbed a Kemet relay in a 1776 FX Finish Line, it also recommends a TQ2-L-5V.  It worked fine.

They are cheaper that the one you have linked to.  They are available at Mouser:

I think the VFE projects use a 5V relay.  Not sure if the 4.5 V will work.  Hopefully, someone with more expertise can chime in.

Cool, I didn't know about that bypass system, slightly cheaper without the micro controller.  Thanks for the tip.
