Total Recall (a short question about a possible malfunction)

Hello, it´s me again! Finally I ended with the extremely difficult to build Total Recall (with Expansion Board included). I made the biasing without oscilloscope only with audio probe, and everything is working fine - I mean, the controls via potentiometers-. But I´ve got the feeling that there is something weird in the echo signal (I know, it is very difficult to explain in words, I will try to upload some audio files later to be more precise). It is like the initial attack of the first echoed note is "eaten" to use a word. Just like a quick "Boss SG-1 slow gear-Type" that last very short. Mh. I tried to move the trimpots again but nothing changes. For the rest the pedal has a very pleasant sound,very "addictive".... I could play with it for hours! well, if there´s somewhere out there who experienced the same issue, maybe it could give me some tip about it
