Does anyone know where to source the stomp switches that Aion is using in his new kits?

Rockhorst

You mean the switch or the nut? I believe they were custom made to his order.

I'm curious about the tpdt footswitch in particular. I agree, the custom nut is awesome looking!

Have you seen these?

I think the Aion switch are Taiway. Taiway toggles are top notch, so I assume their stomps are as well. I haven't seen these particular 3pdt available for sale anywhere, though :|

If you're looking for high quality 3pdt, there are other options... smallbear sells Alpha branded 3pdt. $5.50 a pop with quantity discounts... http://www.smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/alpha-sf17020f-0302-3pdt/

Fulltone sells uber premium footswitches $16 :O ... https://www.fulltone.com/products/fulltone-3pdt-switch

FWIW, i don't build for the public, but I've boxed >50 pedals. Almost all of them have been Tayda cheapo 3pdt. Not a single one has failed yet.

They're from Taiway. No one sells them individually at the moment, and the MOQ from the manufacturer is 500, so a little out of reach for DIYers - but man oh man they are nice. The Alphas were the runner-up when I tested, followed by the green Pro switches from Mammoth. But the Taiways were in a league of their own.

The dress nuts were custom designed & manufactured, but are pretty similar in design to these:

Mine are different in that they are a sort of hollowed-out cap that fits over top of the existing nut. I didn't like the idea of the dress nut functioning as the actual mounting nut itself, as the ones above are. It just takes more work to tighten. But you can get a pretty similar look with those ones anyway.

The best source for Alpha 3pdt switches (in terms of cost) has been PPP in the past. 3.50/per AFAIK.

FWIW, every switch I've ever replaced out on a commercial pedal for someone has been in a Fulltone pedal. So maybe don't go that route.

If you're looking at uber premium switches then those DeMont ones look pretty sweet on BLMS. I've been tempted to try those out in a couple of builds but that price is so high that I'd rather just make a soft touch (which I still haven't done).

I'm actually more curious what jacks are in those kits.
