Xotic BB Preamp

Ok, so I have this pedal. Recently it started to work intermittently, so since I would be needing to repair it I thought I would de-goup some of the circuit board. I was surprised to find out that once I uncovered the IC's to see what they were....the numbers had been sanded off prior to gooping! Wow...major security measures in place. Just thought i would share.

Dang. Yeah a friend of mine who runs his own small company of originals was talking about doing that a while back.  That would definitely stop someone like me, but not a large majority of other forum members.

Good luck on your endeavors! While I haven't ABed the gllllitttterrrratttti next to the BB, I can say both the ones I built for friends sound pretty fantasic and spot on (from memory of playing the BB, shortly before building the glit's)
