Hi guys, I just finished haringer 2 and I wanted to share few mods I did:
1. Reversed pin 1 and 3 of the speed pot, so faster is toe down
2. Used VTL5C3/2 instead two NSL-32
3. Modded vintage input for megavibe type (omit R2 and change R1 for 100K)
4. Changed speed pot range so I can get faster speeds and slower too (Change R52 to 470R and jumper R54)

Cheers

Awesome, thanks for sharing those mods, I have a pcb coming for that too, looking forward to it.
If you have any other hints to share as you use it please sing out, you're a vibe specialist anyway, so keen to hear!

Thanks for kind words. I just love these circuits and enjoy building them..
Maybe we could ad rate led like it is done on harbinger one, rest is covered. Brian did great job with drag cap, it really works nice. I will try smooth pot from Joe Gagan, just to see responce of it. I am using cheap pot at the moment with linear curve.. Also if you want more faster speeds lower 2k2 resistors in position of r41 an r43.
I will make short video, so you can hear hoe it sounds...

Tried smooth pot and nothing special happend with speed range. Also did rate led and it introduced ticking, so I will omit it..

I manage to solve led ticking. I changed 1k resistor that goes to led with 82k in the end and it works fine :) (I am refering to harbinger one rate led circuit)

Looks great, thanks again for info!
Which LDR's did you use?

And did you use the VTL5C3/2 because you had it on hand or would it perform any better or different? Cheers.

I used Silonex NSL-5542 and also vtl5c3/2 'cause I had only one nsl32. I think they perform almost the same and nsl32 are probably cheaper..

Where exactly is the end of that resistor coming off the LED hooked up to in the circuit? Trying to work this into my build and it's a little tough to see exactly in the pics. I also tried the higher speed mods, and they work great, but now the drag switch doesn't seem to be doing it's thing? It maybe could just be too subtle for me to hear anymore at the higher speeds.
