Just found this site and really like the PCB's. I looked at some of the projects and was wondering what types of labels people are using. Is it ink stamp, silk screen, etc, and any advice on how to do some of that. To this point, I have been using home made decals, but want to do a bit more professional job.

Thanks

There's lots of ways to label. My favorites are: stamps with "stazon" ink, etching directly on the surface of the enclosure and using wet&slide label stuff that smallbear sells. It's been a long time since I've done the slide on label, though.

Silkscreen is always the best option, but it is also the most time-consuming, expensive, and the least easy to learn compared to the other methods.

Other folks do actual metal stamping, either directly on the enclosure or on a copper plate.

Check out Decal Pro

It is a bit complicated but you can make full pro graphics using a laser printer. They also have a great system for making pcb transfers to make your own boards.

Funny you mention the ink thing. I was going to have some stamps made and try that. do you then use a clear coat?

thank you very much for the tip did not know, but if I have to pedal at 10 v and take a long, there is some option to make it easier and more kind in series?
