New Phaser Day!!!

I presented some Candy from sweet water and they threw in a phaser. This one has eluded me for all 8 years of my building.

Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

Ends up being some damned expensive Jolly Ranchers doesn't it??  :-)

How loud is too loud?  What?

"Oh, another phaser? How boring," said Jimi never. Nice score! I've never really looked into this. How does this differ from the 90?

Other thank I didn't own one??? [emoji38]

This one has six stages with 4 width and depth settings on the selector.

Only GGG has cloned one and they don't make theirs anymore. I think you should make one.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the 100 is optical and 2 of the stages are fixed

Sorry, I guess I'm thinking of something else with fixed stages.

The elecrosmash phase 90 analysis says the following:

"The effect is more dramatic by placing more than one notch. MXR Phase45 has 1 notch, Phase90 and Univibe have 2 notches and Phase100 uses 3 variable notches"

https://www.electrosmash.com/mxr-phase90

It also goes on to say:
"The LDR Light Dependent Resistor used on MXR Phase-100 and Univibe is linear and easy to use."

No worries. That's very interesting. Always happy for some phaser theory.

Actually... Looking at the GGG schematic. Both statements are correct.

It's a 10 stage phaser with 2 fixed notches and 3 variable notches.
