I haven't taken the time to check out the flanger yet. I'm kinda in a phase shifter mode right now because I'm working on a design for one myself. So, that got my interest first. I'm also guessing that any parts updating that will be needed will be more likely to be more straight forward on the phase shifter. I could easily be wrong there though.

Seems like a good test of the new OSH Park share feature too.
Moosapotamus on DIYstompboxes has a finished project for the flanger with all the changes made necessary to run on a 3007 (and switchable 3207 would not be hard to add) just the PCBs fit a 1590D! Could easily fit a 1590BB with board mounted pots/switch and on board charge pump, it'd be a much better project like that, although your layout skills will have to be up to scratch for clock/LFO noise.

The Phaser is particularly interesting because of the use of 4016s.
Works at Lectric-FX

I'd agree -- very intriguing.
