I'll interject since it has been part of the discussion in the thread.

Obviously, the forum has taken a major downturn and that is 100% my fault. It's clear I'm not putting in the work on mbp right now. I've reached a stage of burnout that I just can't seem to recover from. Sixteen years of working solo on a singular "project" has taken a toll and I don't know how to get back on the right side of things. An extended sabbatical would probably be the right thing but I think that would end up pushing mbp further into irrelevancy (in terms of my colleagues and "competitors").

So, I've just been plodding along hoping the stars will align again.

It seems like the hobby has shifted towards straight up clones again. I haven't really seen anything new from fuzzdog either. Barry is putting together 3 and 4 effects on a PCB. I dunno man.

Sorry to hear that ! I'm a newcomer and really love what you do and the quality of it, for what it's worth !

Not at all. I'm just acknowledging that things are in a valley now. We'll get back to a peak. I'm just having a bit of difficultly in getting the engine started again. I'm glad you brought it up.

Thanks for posting, Bean, we all go thru dark places from time to time, and just saying it out loud can help.  I appreciate all you do for us, both here on the forum and thru Madbean.

Thanks for posting that Brian.  Having started this venture back when you had to learn to etch your own boards from Tonepad it's safe to say I've been around for a while.  You gotta take care of yourself.

It would be nice to get some community back in house and I've been pretty lax about perking up about anything either here or over at Robert's.  I'm lazy but need to get a bit more involved.  I've been playing a lot more lately in a variety of scenarios so it's not like I don't have lots to talk about and repairs lets me see all kinds of odd stuff.
