Polytrog - first powerup, not working, LT1054 very hot, CA3140 also hot. Blown?

First power up, I had the ground connected to the pad "LED". No sound. Realized that and corrected it. Had sound, but basically no effect with any knob setting. Noticed the LT1054 is super hot, the CA3140 also quite warm. Nervous about check voltages on the board. Do I go ahead and try that, working fast, or are those two components warm because they were damaged by the ground mis-wiring?

I started with the calibration. I could only get the voltage to 4.33V before I ran out of turn on the trimmer.

I don't want to put in two new parts and fry them, too...

I would take out the ICs, check polarity & continuity from DC Jack to 1054 pins (or through diode if any) to make sure that's good and check for shorts around there.

Then I would power up and check the voltages at the pins where the 1054 would be.

Once you've established you gave DC going to the charge pump and no shorts (check resistance between voltage output and ground too), I would put the pump back in and check voltage at the output of the power supply circuitery...

Then at the pins of the other chip(s) etc...

Thanks for the help! I started measuring w/o ICs and it quickly helped me discover my CD4013 was in backwards, doh!
It's working well now, sounds great in sweep mode, envelope mode not doing anything, but I think I damaged my multi-turn trimmer. It's stuck on 8v. Going to dig into that now.
