Hi folks,

If I'm thinking of putting the Wolfshirt octave up on a footswitch, could I go with an SPDT and just use only the center and one outer lug? And it would only be two wires, right?

Thanks,

Bret

You can wire up a footswitch but most find it was a waste of space.  With the octave effect engaged most find that the other settings tone etc.. need adjusting.  Plus it makes a bit of a "pop"

Bret already has an enclosure pre drilled. I think he wants to just do it that way anyway.

Yes, you're right Bret, two wires only. Just look at the footswitch the same way you would a toggle switch.

Jacob is right as to my ulterior motive!  ;D It's such a nice enclosure from our recent trade, and it seems to demand a fuzz.

I wonder if the pop could be reduced with a resistor across a couple of the lugs, as can be done with a 3PDT?

I hear you about the settings, Josh--I think people find this to be true even of the Fulltone Ultimate Octave. Not a big issue for me, but I think it could be if you tried to use it live.
