trem lune and rebotes from tonepad

'custom OD' mods to serendipity pcb detailed here:

clickless true bypass relay circuits are from jack deville

enclosures by pedal parts plus

ocd is on vero board, orange squeezer is madbeans 'cupcake'

cables are lava solderless and a few george L's

tap tempo from thought process

the tap tempo and relay switch box is actually on a little wedge and the front switch is set as low as possible and the back switch as tall as possible so they are easy to hit without hitting the other.  The rear boxes are 2.2" tall and the front boxes are 1.3" tall as well so plenty of clearance.  I had to use two dc jacks in the delay box to handle the mA requirements.

Wow, BofH(love the moniker)
You have been busy it looks like. How about some better pictures and some gut shots of what you have going on. I take it the J. Deville switching units are much like the one RG has at AMZ? What band are you in btw?
Cheers and thanks for the pictures.
Soundclips too pleeeeeezzze

thanks

I'm in the market for a new camera this week, my current one won't focus on anything close for some reason.  (i'll get some gut shots up soon)

I play in one original band right now but I have a few other projects in various states of dysfunction.

not sure on the switches, I haven't really analyzed them that closely.  I met jack on tgp and ordered them from him a while back just to play around with and eventually I came up with some uses for them.

I would love to use a switch like that for a looper and new pedal builds.  I was thinking something along those lines before, utilizing a relay and quieter switch for a true bypass.  Sometimes when you gotta switch a pedal or 3 during a quiet break the clicks seem to resonate across the room.  :(

I'm not paying $26 for a switch though....

they use one of these 5v panasonic relays:

http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=1011

the 8 pin chips says 12f509 'i/p e3 you' and '0952' on it.  there are two transistor looking things that I can't see the front of, i'm assuming at least one is a 5v regulator.  then there are 10n and 100n box caps, a 4.7u electrolytic 4 resistors and a 914 diode.  they use about 30ma I think so keep that in mind.

I'm going to do some further experimenting with them when my schedule clears up again later this fall.  I'd like to try switching multiple effects in and out and flipping orders if possible for instance.

btw, I think i'm going to install the fatpants circuit as a preamp for the byoc delay to warm it up and make it more echoplex like in behavior.  I already have that circuit running off a road rage so it'll be pretty simple.  I'll have to make the gain control a trim though as I have no room for knobs.

Thanks for sharing that link pigyboy!!! :)
If you get some maybe start a thread and I am planning to do the same when I get around to using them. Too many projects!

I agree!  I've spent most of my time building a workable area in my garage.  I moved so pedal building has been on the back burner, but I just finished the guts of a wolfshirt last night.

Edit: I just ordered two of the amz true bypass boards (free shipping for 2).  They seem very well thought out as far as the programming.
