I was wondering if anyone has tried powering a neutrino higher than 9V (i.e. 18V).  Any benefits to having the extra headroom?  Figured I'd ask before building a Road Rage to try it.

as long as your caps are rated above 18v your good to. You will have more headroom and i don't see why it wouldn't sound better. It will probably take away a bit of the compressed sound.

If you used the  LM145, just be sure your P/S is regulated.

I checked the datasheet, and 18v is the maximum supply voltage for that chip. Don't know what you paid for the chip, or if you have a backup.

Haven't built this circuit, or tried that voltage on that chip.

Just throwin' that out there.

Thanks, that's good to know!
