I will be doing a short run of Laserwolf PCB's that will ship the first week of March. These are available for pre-order in the store now. The prices are $17 - $21 shipped. International & Canada will require 1st Class shipping rather than Flats so they are more expensive, I'm afraid. The base price for the board itself is $15 (it is rather big).
Anyway, there will be about 20 boards available. The few small issues and work-arounds from the first run have all been corrected.
I would like one.
already buy mine

Believe it or not, Mouser carries that one. It appears to still be in production. I would assume overseas parts houses would have it as well (not sure, though).
Is there going to be a restock on the dirtbaby and moodring? I see they are both running low. I'm not worried about timetable I just need to be reassured that I will be able to get them in the future :o
I've been waiting for this board for weeks. Looks like I missed it. :-\

Hold on Steve. I think we had one messed up transaction. I will look into it and verify the numbers. I think I can arrange a board for you.

Yes, of course. Not sure if that will be in early or late March batch, though. All the Asian board makers are now on the New Year holiday so things are taking longer anyway. I will update the Moodring and Dirtbaby once they are sold out.

Ok good, I don't have the money right now and the boards I have are being built for someone else. Thanks.

Fingers crossed...it's funny, I said this morning that I shouldn't wait and I pulled the trigger on all my other boards. If I have to wait longer it's no biggie. Congrats to all you lucky scoundrels. :)
Steve.
What's a laser wolf, I missed it and can't find it on the forum, mainly because I am out of town with only my iPhone.

It's the Eddie Van Halen in a box. Triple effects on one pcb that Brian entered in the last contest. It's a beaut!
Steve.

Daaaaammmnnn
Just ordered this PCB...
Looks to be a saaaaWEEET build!
Thanks Brian!
I will investigate more about the J112 and see if I can do a more available alternate. IIRC, I did try a 2n5457 but the results were better with the J112. But, it's not a huge deal...we are just talking about an LFO indicator light here.
So sweet about the Laserwolf! I hope my order went through *cross fingers*
What was the surf-rock one that was up there? I was looking forward to that one, but I already forgot what the name was again.
Any chance of a separate release of the OD section? It sounds quite interesting on its own.

I had not really thought about it, but if there is enough interest, sure. It would be very easy and quick to do a project for the OD section...perhaps with some tweaks for more gain, too.
Sweet! 8)
I'm quite sure that having a nice 'marshall in a box' type of pcb would be a great addition to the catalog.
I'd buy it (i know theres the 8 balls, but it's such an old design that i can't help but think that we can have better amp in a box type of pedals designs today).
There's enough cross-over with the supposed "Peacekeeper" fet project I was working on that this could just become the PK project.
I took a stab at the layout, added a MIDs trimmer plus a couple other small mods. I'll see about prototyping it in the near future.
Just noticed the Laserwolf pre-order and it's sold out. Any plans for more?

I will do these in batches every couple of months or so. So, there will be another in April or May. I will announce it further ahead next time around.
I just got an update on this from the manufacturer: I should have the LW boards in hand on Tuesday March 10th. Everything is pushed back a bit because of the Chinese new year so of course all our manufacturers in Asia are on holiday.
hoping to catch this one next time around!
yeahh, me too...please inform for new pre-order!
cheers raffa
I will have a sign up sheet in advance of the next order (I'll make it available around the middle of March). This will let everyone sign up for one so I know how many to order. IOW...no one will miss out on the next one, I promise!
You are the greatest Brian.

I will post the sign up in the middle of March. The actual order will take place in April and be available probably the last week of April.

The new Laserwolf boards have all shipped and the project doc has been updated for this run.

There are no significant changes other than fixing the couple of mistakes that were on the proto boards.

Cesar - sorry, I forgot. My little brain is a capacity right now.
But the SPDX2 proto boards will ship free I've decided so no worries on that. I actually just got them in and I am building one up right now to verify!

Did the "mid-month" signup sheet ever happen? Not whining here, just want to be sure I did not miss it.... Been traveling for the last two weeks.

Yep. Wondering the same thing.
I will get that up this week. Thanks for the reminder.

Recieved mine today! I have a question....I ordered the components before the document changed, I have a B50k, instead of the B25k for the "time" pot. What will I be missing if I go with this value? Should I wait and get the B25K?
Thanks alot for your wonderful site! I can't wait to build this!
-donleo
50k is fine. It will give you more delay. I put 25k as stock to limit the delay (and therefore noise) but there is nothing wrong with using a 50k instead.
Whew-hew!!! Thanks!!!
