Mercury Magnetics- I think they make the best stuff out there for sure. The problem is, it's double the price and you are not getting double the sonic quality. Their transformers are great but Heyboer is half the price and I seriously doubt anyone will hear the difference. My favorite of theirs is the $300 transformer upgrade kit for a $125 epiphone valve jr 5 watt amp. Are you kidding me?

When I first started looking into modding my Valve Jr. I was pointed towards the Mercury upgrade, then I saw the price. so I went with a Hammond transformer and prob couldn't be happier, would the Mercury sound better? Probably but there is no way it makes enough of an improvement to justify the price for me.

There already is the Build Reports area where we can all create a post and show our stuff off on here, I'm not sure he would build a gallery also.

I tell ya the one thing I miss on the timeline vs the elcap, is that on the elcap you can add spring reverb to your delay. hopefully they can add that in an update along with global tap tempo. on the whole though, It's the best delay I've ever used. you can really make it sound however you want...er...except with reverb.

EDIT....just realised the tape echo setting is missing the multi head option. hope that gets sorted out.

From what I understand is that they purposefully left certain features out of the Timeline to still leave a place for the El Cap and Brigadier.

The EM and 117 may very well drop at the same time.

I'll see what I can do about a preliminary BOM.

That would be great, thanks!

Would it be possible to get an IC parts list for the Current Lover and Dirtbag? I'm about to place a couple component orders and figured I'd add the IC's I'll be needing to the list. No biggie if you'd rather wait till they are released. Thanks Brian!
