I've been there before, but with an "eye candy" female vocalist, the drinkers just begin to stare!
We just kept playing, and ignored those people (and the guy who kept shouting "play Mustang Sally!" I hated
that guy!)

But! We would take a hit, and hire a sound guy, using all his setup, for the gigs. He would charge $175.00, to
$200.00, a show. He had all the cool new stuff (still does), and could make us sound good, on a bad night. It
was pricy, but he had a preset board, for all the place's we would play, so everything was already dialed in. I
could look at him, for a split second, and he knew exactly what I needed. He was like a soundman psychic!
It was worth every penny, for him to do sound!

My old band made $200 one show. Once...

General Questions / Re: 1590A and PT2399

You can solder it directly. 2399s can be hit or miss in terms of motorboating, so as long as you verify its a good chip in another circuit, it should be good. Just solder one pin at a time, letting the chip cool in between so you do not overheat it.

No answer, but I thought it was pretty odd that I was just reading this https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=107353.0

He just released some of the 125b boards. They look cery nice and include a bypass breakoff board. Maybe I need an HM-2...

I remember hearing "Blue on Black" when I was younger, because they played it on the classic rock stations all the time. I used to be so proud that I could identify the effects he was using. "You hear that high pitched octave sound? That's an Octavia." Everyone would be like, "yeah, Andy. No one cares." But I did!

Honestly, the body and neck binding is the primary reason I bought a Standard over a Studio (most recently). If the Studios get body binding as well and also don't get a huge price jump, that will be very compelling to a lot of vanity whores like me.

Wouldn't it just be a Standard then? I think we just really want a Standard at the Studio price.

or look and see that J2 is next to the edge on one side and not next to the edge in the other image.

I may be trippin' but I see this too.
