Welcome to the forum, I'm a Fellow Aussie from Victoria.
This has been like the crack of the hobby world for me.
Very addictive

Is the mn3006 a drop in replacement or other parts that need to be changed?
I always assumed the mn3007 version was close enough, I never have tried an original.

Build Reports / Liquid Mercury Phaser
March 26, 2016, 07:01:35 AM
Drolo's Liquid Mercury Phaser, it sounds fantastic and I love the extra functions available on it like the tap tempo, square wave, random etc.
I usually just label plain boxes with a metal stamp but occasionally I buy a couple of the real hammonds that are powder coated with my Mouser order.
The Blue ended up being too dark for me to use decals so I had to resort to labels and paint pen. It looks pretty shabby but certainly doesn't sound that way!
Might just be the best Phaser I have made yet.

Great layout, looks fantastic.
Did I see somewhere before the great crash that those transistors might be offered with the PCB when these go on sale?
They certainly have the mojo!

Thanks Scruffie, I appreciate it.

Hi all, I don't have a 680pf cap for the current lover.
I have a 560pf and an 820pf polystyrene, does it need a 680 or will either of these suffice?
I also don't have a 13k for R16, I do have 12k.
If anyone can help I much appreciate it.
Thanks

Looks Great!
I wouldn't mind one of those myself.

Good luck with it, I wouldn't consider the Moodring an easy First Build.

Thanks Alan, 1 of the Flangers I hope to build is your upcoming Nameless Project.
BL3207 is what I will use.

Open Discussion / Mn3207, bl3207 etc.
February 13, 2016, 10:24:59 AM
I have been looking into building some flangers after going on a bit of a phaser binge last year.
Are the bl3207 and v3207 basically identical to the mn3207 in regards to performance.
Do people have a preference? Are there any to be avoided?
If anyone has any info it would be appreciated, thanks

Interesting choice the Selmer Buzz tone, a rare fuzz/drive indeed.
Would love to buy one if you end up with any spare PCBs.
Nice work

I wonder if anyone could draw me a diagram or explain really simple like how to add the 100uf cap in parallel as noted in the build doc for the Triton?
I would like to do this mod on mine but unsure how to wire it.
Thanks for any help given

General Questions / Re: Rotary switches for the DigDug
January 25, 2016, 02:48:41 AM
I think Mouser and Musikding are about it.
Musikding informed me they were getting stock of the  1p8t in January, maybe that has changed.
I also requested Steve at Small Bear to stock them as I have seen more and more builds using them especially 2p4t.
He is looking into stocking them soon a bit cheaper than Mouser, feel free to request them as well if it is something you would like to see get stocked.
I am in Australia and ended up getting mine at Mouser because they now do free shipping to Aus if you spend over $60.
Good Luck finding yours, hopefully someone else starts stocking them soon!

Site looks great! I just grabbed a PCB of both the mk1 and mk2 Galileo,
Any chance of a drill template for the mk 1?
Thanks a lot
