Baby board prototypes are here and I am totally stoked to start putting these together. I have a mess of 3mm resistors and multi-layer ceramics on the way from Mouser, too.
I'm going to build one small multi-effects unit with custom power supply and a couple in 1590A's to showcase what you can do with them. Fun, fun!

Whooooooaa! So little time!
Love the baby boards!
That's legit Brian...awesome!
those look great, can't wait to try them out! Do you have a Mouser link to 3mm resistors & caps?
Sweet, really looking toward to these.
Here I thought we were going to see pictures of everyone's babies. :P
This looks so cool.

wow! you've been quite busy!
My soldering iron is salivating!! (& my pocket book is scared!)
Can't wait to see all of these come to life.
Bringing the word 'neato' back.
Neato.

Will these projects be posted with etchable PDF files?

I don't know the answer but expect some of these projects, if not most, will very hard(maybe impossible) to do single sided.
Yeah, in many cases the double sided boards are used here to condense the layout. In order to condense the layout we would expect them to be either impossible or ridiculously difficult to do single sided (the delay pedal comes to mind for instance).
However, if you want an etchable version of any of these circuits, and Madbean doesn't already provide them in the documentation, let me or Ian or any of the other layout guys know and we will try and work something up for you.
Jacob
These will not have single sided layouts. There are a couple which could probably be converted. But, as Jacob said, some are just really complicated to do in a 1590A size. Figuring out the double-sided routing was quite a challenge of a few of them.
Ohh sweet lord... :o :o
Hopefully I can stick 2 in a 125B..
O baby!
woo! :D
You make it hard to fight off the GAS Brian.
win!

Yeah, If they aren't included in the docs, I don't mind making some layouts up once te schematics are up. As long as Brian is cool with it, we can throw them in one of the Extra projects threads.
That sounds awesome Ian, cheers! Would be good to have the potential for self etching even if boards will be bigger.
Cheers!

Im partial to the 125b box myself, so the 1590a box is a little small... Heck even the 1290 is pushing it for me! LOL
I just like having some substance under my foot I guess.
Oops hit post too quick...
All that to say- I'm hoping the self-etchable take the same size minded designs, and since I like the larger boxes, the single layer size increase should work out in my favor.

Totally sweet!
Progress report 1
The Hipster fuzz and Afterlife compressor are verified. The Hipster is a basic silicon fuzz with the "gate" control borrowed from the Sabertooth. The Afterlife is an optical compressor based on the Flatline and sounds very smooth!
Next up is the BaconBits Booster, PorkRind Chorus and CaveDweller delay :)
Pics forthcoming.
So stoked bean.
Jacob
This is all looking VERY cool!
:)
Excitement builds!
Looking forward to the CaveDweller and what ever distortion you come up with.

This is all a really neat idea.
Still crossing my fingers there's a swaw in there.
What a bunch of great project names!! hehe
I second the SWAW in a mini project, that would rule!
Well, there is one in there called "Squealotron" and that's all I'm sayin'.
There's also one called "KingSlayer" so draw your own conclusions on that :)

If you replace squeal with mute...or just plain mut..heheheh
For the other one it makes me think of Conan!
Makes me think of Arthas... *nerds out for a second*
will be ordering probably all of these.
Any chance of a package deal :o ;D
Any word on a release date for these (or an estimate lol)?
It will be late January AFAIK.
Awesome, can't wait!
oh my, as if I needed moar stuff to build!
These look amazing, can't wait to get my hands on them :)
