So far my only problem is putting too much winding on the g string. In my mind it seems that locking tuners might take some eyeballing out of the equation.

One should avoid too many twists on the G String, it could get a bit awkward.

You guys are killing me. My daughter is going into her Sr year of high school. She's looking at colleges, I can't deal with the thought of her going off to college. How do you guys do it?

I'm not a harmonica player, but I think a Boss GE-7 EQ pedal would be really handy for some lo-fi sounds.

I'm not sure if you are in the US but I use these for hardware.  I do multiple ghost builds for other companies and it's the best way I have found to keep bulk hardware, pots, etc.  They come in different form factors but they can stack.
