Don't know if there's any metal or hardcore fans in this thread but I've been reminiscing on some old New York City hardcore. Cro-Mags, Alpha Omega. Possibly not their most popular album but definitely my favorite. Oh and German Power-metal power house, Accept. Great listens if you're into that scene.

That looks great I'd like to try a set of 59/09s.  I've got some 57/08s in my ce22 and absolutely love them.

I truly believe they are the best humbucker i have ever played. I bought my sc58 mainly because of the 57/08s and the color. Its got be pretty.
I really like them. I have HFS/vintage bass in my custom 24 and they also rule. I'm sure the build quality of PRS plays a big part too.

That is gorgeous.  I've weened down my Singlecut collection to 4 (2 X 250, 1X245, and an SC Trem), but they are fantastic guitars.
I'm jealous .

I've just added this beauty to my collection. I agonized over a single cut and a custom 24 about 6-7 years ago and the Custom 24 won. Given that I'm entering the 40's later this month, I figured it was high time stop my inner turmoil and get a single cut for my 40th. It's a Tremonti Sig but with 59/09 pickups. I've since re applied the Tremonti truss rod cover  and may consider putting the original pickups back in but have to say the 59/09's sound amazing.

I'll have to admit I have not been active in nearly 12 months but have been reading the forum posts regularly. My wife and I welcomed our son last July and he decided to Sleep in 3hr blocks for the 1st 9 months. Unfortunately getting somewhat consistent sleep took precedence . How ever in the past month I have got my head back in the game finishing up some projects. This has included a 50w hot rodded plexi kit. I've also put my cabinet making skills to hand and built a dove tailed head cabinet with a birds eye Huon Pine veneered front panel. Still yet to laquer but it's getting there.

What a knob! What's wrong with people! I'm sure we've all bought gear that hasn't quite been what we've imagined. So what! Sell it on or even better, pay it forward. You never know, it may come back to you in other ways down the track....This bloke would be a dead set Asshole.

Tech Help - Projects Page / Current Lover Chirp
November 30, 2017, 11:41:48 AM
Hi All,

I've just finished up a 2015 Current Lover and am having some issues calibrating it. I've listed my voltages below. All appear to be ball park to the build doc with the exception of IC5 LM324 Pin 7 and pins 12 & 13 on IC4 CD4013 appear to be backward ( Build doc is Pin 12 - 9v, Pin 13 - 0v. My reading are Pin 12 - 0v & Pin 13 - 8.75v. Any ways. I have calibrated it as per the document and have a really nice flange happening but for the life of me cannot get rid of the chirp at the extremes of the sweep. Any advice would be hugely appreciated. here are my Voltages

Build Reports / Collosus

Welp! I've been a bit inactive of late. (Baby's and sleep deprivation tend to do that) but finally.... FINALLY, got around to getting my mitts into this one. As always the madbean build doc was great and the calibrating tips were a huge help.

Had a minor issue drilling the enclosure so I had to reroute the feedback trimmer. Apart from that it was a really smooth build

Keen to hear your thoughts.

Tommy
