Hi everyone!

Been a long time since I built a guitar pedal but I had a fuzzy itch I had to scratch. Just finished up on this DustBunny. Really enjoyed it and happy with how it sounds! I just used all BC108's. I had grand plans of doing a full shootout of transistor combos but it sounds good and the lid is on so I don't imagine myself ever getting around to that!

Build Reports / Birthday Boost: Non Madbean
March 27, 2012, 11:23:26 AM
Well it's my little brothers 21st birthday next week so I built him a boost pedal. The circuit is very simple and based around a JFET transistor. Mediumish input impedance, nothing like SHO so not as much high frequency boost. Volume control is voltage divider after circuit as opposed to biasing the transistor itself. Sounds good. You'll notice it goes from 0 to 21! Wired point-to-point with a tag strip seeing as the circuit is so simple.

Build Reports / My Audio Lab - Moon Boost
September 24, 2011, 11:06:19 AM
My apologies if it's uncool to post builds from other companies?

Anyway, I found this guy from France who's business is called 'My Audio Lab'. Ordered a couple of his guitar effects PCBs. Built this one today. It's a SHO style boost (hence the name). Sounds good!

Build Reports / Slightly Modified Egodriver
December 06, 2010, 05:45:37 AM
Here's an egodriver I built for a mate that I changed slightly for bass (bigger in/out caps).

Poor form I know, not having a guts shot. I'll snap one ASAP :)

General Questions / More low end out of egodriver
October 02, 2010, 01:07:39 AM
Has anyone successfully substituted any values to get just a tiny bit more low end out of the egodriver? I'm digging it on bass, but just the tiniest bit more low end extension would be awesome!

Thanks madbeaners!

Build Reports / Finished Egodriver

Thanks so much for this project, sounds fantastic :)

I etched the board at home... everything was pretty strait forward. Decal is just a waterslide type.

Look forward to building some more of your projects!
