:D Thanks very much everyone. It's a fun design Madbean! Thanks for all your hard work. Most of what I know about building came from obsessively reading and looking at this forum ;D

Build Reports / Deep and Dark - "Cave Dweller"
June 29, 2012, 06:28:56 PM
Here's my "Dark Echo" aka "Cave Dweller. My apologies to Jack Deville. :-[ I designed the artwork before I realized he had a pedal by this name. It really suits this pedal. Straight up with only the 2n2 cap to brighten it a little. The funky transistor was the only one Tadya had that matched the specs for the board.
White water clear sanded led.

Artwork and type created in Photoshop. Used PNP to transfer the design for etching.

Really like this pedal a lot. Like it so much I bought a volume pedal just so I could so those dark, cool swells you can get with this. Build it! ;D

Open Discussion / Re: Tayda Right Angle Plugs
June 22, 2012, 06:12:46 PM
Hey, I bought several of these to do the same with. Gotta say, I'd call them fair at best. The plug along with the solder connection inside will rotate. I've had problems with them as a result. I buy lots of stuff from Tayda and this is the only item I'm not happy with.

and a power switch. I hate having to unplug my battery operated fuzz pedals

How did you wire the power switch? I hate unplugging my fuzz pedal!

Hey, The on off switch is an spdt. I run the 9v lead to the switch and then run a wire to the 9v tap on the circuit board. Just a straight on/off interrupting the power supply. Works great!

My favorite is when I have the back off the pedal and  put the in in the out and the out in the in >:(
and...bypass but no effect. Always fakes me out :o
