It's about a week into the offseason for me, is why I'm knocking these out. I've been putting them off for quite awhile while work was busy (I should have 4 more weeks of warcraft to go.)

Found my last small knob. Luckily a normal one fits as well. Hipsters seem to like deliberately rubbish things (hipstermatic photos being a prime example), so it probably fits the theme.

Normally, I never bother swapping transistors, at all, and just go with what's listed in the BOM (on the basis they designed it, they should know.) This one, I did (since the BOM just said "Si NPN transistor") with few bags of 2n2222a, BC550, 2n3904, and BC108 (all tayda.) The 108's were hands down the winner (the other ones being either noisy, unintelligable, or picked up radio.)

I love this little fuzz! Sounds great!

Dallas-Arbiter built them before they were small.

Well, it's made me appreciate all over again the wonders of PCB mounted pots.
